August is a transition month—from the peak of summer heat to the beginning of the busy fall semester. Academic pursuits continued with intensity both indoors and out. One project features a floating wetlands on the Charles River and another explores  designs for a robot to detect air leaks in homes. Campus tours were common sights, and some groups may have seen the White Coat ceremony for physician assistants or a stunning 7-month-old husky. Toward the end of the month, street and sidewalk traffic intensified as move-in week began. Enjoy these images from News@Northeastern’s award-winning photography team.
