Freezing on the way to class? Northeastern has underground tunnels.

Drag to reposition map

Northeastern‘s underground tunnel system is a hidden gem, one that is particularly useful when you‘re looking to escape the cold and avoid the snow and rain while making your way across campus.

Here, we provide a digital tour of the tunnel system and highlight how to easily navigate between various buildings to find food, labs, and a variety of university resources.

Curry Student Center to Ell Hall

One of the primary entrances to the tunnel system can be found next to the entrance to Northeastern’s Bookstore. A key painted on the wall to the left of the tunnel’s entryway lists the 11 buildings you can reach by traversing the 16,705-square-foot underground network: Cabot Gym; Churchill Hall; the Curry Student Center; Dodge Hall; Ell Hall; Forsyth Hall; Hayden Hall; Mugar Hall; Richards Hall; Snell Library; and Snell Engineering.
