“I have this idea to take mortality and morbidity conferences that hospitals hold and develop something more geared toward nurses. These conferences give doctors the opportunity to discuss where something went wrong, but in my clinical work I found that information sometimes doesn’t get to the nurses. I want to get nurses more involved so they can improve by recognizing their own faults and be able to become better healthcare advocates.”
