“I met my boyfriend (Younis Shuaib) in our first week at North­eastern five years ago. It was in the Sustaining Business in the New Economy class when he was being super loud and obnoxious, and I was feeling a little ‘holier than thou.’ After class he introduced himself and we’ve been dating ever since. Of course, it’s always easier said than done. Through Northeastern’s international programs I was able to spend time abroad in China, Japan and Ireland. Although thousands of miles apart at times, we supported each other as a couple while exploring our individual career paths.”
