Hundreds of members of the Northeastern University and surrounding communities gathered at the ceremonial groundbreaking for the ISEC, or Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex (ISEC), on Columbus Avenue. President Joseph E. Aoun joined New Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, who represented the City of Boston, in the ceremony.
