Northeastern University Student's Photo Published in National Honors Society Publication

Boston, Mass. –A Northeastern University student’s photograph was chosen for publication in The Collegiate Scholar, an online publication produced by The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS).

Ben Landsberg, a middler studying economics and mathematics, was recognized for his photo Charles River at Night.It was selected from more than 100 submissions in the art category.

“It’s always nice to get recognition,” Landsberg said. “Photography is a very serious hobby of mine.”

Steve Loflin, NSCS’ Executive Director, said, “Ben’s work stood out because it was really compelling and engaging.”

The NSCS is the nation’s premiere honor organization for high-achieving students.It aims to honor, inspire and engage its invitation-only members and recognizes those who combine their creative and academic pursuits.The Collegiate Scholar comes out three times per year, in the fall, spring and summer semesters.
