(8/8/07) BOSTON, Mass. – Aaron Schatz, author of the widely acclaimed Pro Football Prospectus, will discuss his new guide, Pro Football Prospectus 2007: The Essential Guide to the 2007 Pro Football Season, on Wednesday, August 15 at Northeastern University’s Curry Student Center from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Often compared to revolutionary baseball statistician Bill James, Schatz provides in-depth, unique analysis of skill players, offensive and defensive lines, special teams and total team efficiency. His guide offers an important tool for hard-core football fans and has been lauded by former players, current coaches and the media for its premiere statistical examination of data not currently available in the NFL’s official statistics.

Schatz is a mainstay on TV and radio stations such as ESPN, CNN and NPR, and has written for a number of publications including The Boston Globe, The New York Times, The New Republic and the Boston Phoenix.

As editor-and-chief of FootballOutsiders.com, a website that provides objective, one-of-a-kind analysis, Schatz has transformed the art of football coverage. Schatz also compiles the NFL Power Rankings for Foxsports.com and offers analysis for the New York Sun.
