Karen Fayad, a Northeastern engineering student, is working with the charity Jobs for Lebanon to raise money for food and reconstruction efforts to help her country recover from the Port of Beirut explosion.

When Bouchra Benghomari’s mother was a young girl in Algeria, representatives from UNICEF delivered life-saving vaccinations to her home. Now, Benghomari has dedicated her life to returning the favor.
