NASA wants to put astronauts on Mars. These students are designing the rovers.
Astronauts are going to need rovers to help with technical and scientific tasks when they get to the Red Planet. Northeastern students have designed a prototype, and will be competing in the University Rover Challenge at the Mars Desert Research Center in Utah at the end of May.
