Northeastern faculty member reflects on acting role in Detroit, one of summer's most hyped films
Dennis Staroselsky, an actor and part-time lecturer in the Department of Theatre, plays a detective in Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow’s new movie Detroit, which opens nationwide today. “This is the kind of movie I dreamed of being in when I first wanted to become an actor,” he says. “It’s the kind of film that will make people uncomfortable and hopefully spark a dialogue.”
