Chasing the elusive two-hour marathon
Thousands of runners will test their mettle over 26.2 miles in the Boston Marathon on Monday, each striving for personal bests. Some will break records personal records, but will any but the best elite runners—and will they even—achieve that elusive sub-two-hour marathon? We asked the director of the Sports Physical Therapy Residency program what it will take to accomplish that lofty goal and whether we’re likely to see it in Boston anytime soon.
