    Northeastern students awarded two Truman, nine Fulbright scholarships


    The university boasts two Truman Scholars in a year when more students than ever before were nominated in the U.S. It’s also home to nine Fulbright Scholars, the most ever in a single year for the university. The honorees will be celebrated by President Joseph E. Aoun at the Academic Honors Convocation on Thursday.

    Despite the potential hazards to everyone on the food chain—including us—scientists have a limited knowledge about the distribution of microplastics in the ocean. Northeastern researcher Ethan Edson has developed a sensor that could solve the problem.

    Northeastern finalizes partnership agreement with New College of the Humanities in London


    Northeastern University last week finalized a partnership with New College of the Humanities, a private college in central London, formalizing an agreement that will expand Northeastern’s global network of campuses and create new academic and research opportunities at both institutions.
