Northeastern University professor of psychology and philosophy Jorge Morales, along with frequent collaborator Chaz Firestone of Johns Hopkins University, provide a review of new research conducted by E.E.M. Stewart, et al., “Mental object rotation based on two-dimensional visual representations.” This paper, they say, describes how “a core assumption” about spacial thinking “has missed something important about the perceiver’s point-of-view.”
