‘Comparative Civil Procedure’

Professor of law Margaret Y.K. Woo has co-edited a research handbook for legal scholars that compares civil procedures around the world. In their introduction, the editors write that the “perceptions of fairness and rationality, and in turn, civil procedure rules and their implementation are often wedded to the political and social system from which they derive.” In a collection of dynamic essays, the volume’s authors explicate these differences.
