A new human-like robot developed and produced by a Boston company will likely find strong demand from U.S. manufacturers looking to automate repetitive tasks, according to some who follow the manufacturing sector in Massachusetts.

“I’m sure (manufacturers) are going to want it,” said Barry Bluestone, director of Northeastern University’s Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy, adding that “it may be possible because of this robot to bring more production back to the states.”
