  • Teen with cerebral palsy inspires Northeastern basketball team

    CBS Boston - 02/18/2015

On Wednesday, the Northeastern University basketball team was gearing up for a big night against William and Mary. Like most top programs they have talented players, great coaches and spirited fans, but this team has something even greater.

Head Coach Bill Coen says, “We were very, very fortunate to get associated with him he means so much to our team.”

Their secret weapon sits on the end of the bench everygame and every practice.

Fifteen-year-old Max Plansky has cerebral palsy and is confined to a wheelchair, but he is an official member of the team. He has a jersey and a locker and his father says the experience has changed his life.
