  • Rough draft ventures announces the 9 new students spearheading its investment team

    BostInno - 10/10/2014

Rough Draft Ventures has backed more than 30 student startups since launching nearly two years ago. And with a new investment team announced Friday, it’s clear that number will soon be on the rise.

The General Catalyst-supported, student-run investment team has helped bring a new source of capital to the city’s college campuses, as well as access to a seasoned pool of mentors. Those include Paul English, co-founder of Kayak and founder of Blade; Neil Blumenthal, co-founder of Warby Parker; Helen Greiner, co-founder of iRobot and CEO of CyPhy Works; and Dharmesh Shah, co-founder of the now-public inbound marketing firm HubSpot.
