  • Northeastern University in Charlotte adds new programs

    Charlotte Observer - 04/14/2015

Northeastern University-Charlotte is adding programs slated to launch in May and in 2016.

The new offerings, approved by the UNC Board of Governors, include five master’s degree programs and one certificate for advanced graduate study. The campus now offers 25 graduate degree programs and 10 certificate programs in six sectors: business, education, government and civic engagement, health care, leadership and management science, technology and engineering.

“Northeastern’s growing number of graduate degree and certificate programs are directly aligned with the needs of employers in the region, many of whom are our co-op partners,” Dr. Cheryl Richards, CEO and regional dean of Northeastern University’s Charlotte campus, said in a statement.
