  • Northeastern University expands degree offerings in Charlotte

    Northeastern University-Charlotte is expanding its educational offerings with new programs ranging from health care to homeland security.

    The Boston-based university’s has received approval from the N.C. General Administration and Board of Governors to offer an additional five master’s programs, one baccalaureate degree for second-degree students and one certificate for advanced graduate study at its Charlotte campus.

    That list includes degree programs in corporate and organizational communication, homeland security and nonprofit management, which are enrolling students for the spring term, which begins May 18.
