Northeastern University has joined with entrepreneurs worldwide to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week, an event-filled four days dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating the importance of innovation. From Monday through Thursday, the 20th, Northeastern will be hosting events and conversations centered on entrepreneurship, startups, investment and success.

GEW itself is eight years old yet, for the second year in a row, Northeastern’s festivities have been sponsored by the Northeastern University Center for Entrepreneurship Education. A Kickoff Reception was held Monday night, featuring fresh, seasonal produce from Northeastern alumni venture Fresh Truck. Various speakers, panels and seminars are taking place the rest of the week; events include everything from discussions about women in tech to an improv workshop.
