  • Northeastern is opening a small Silicon Valley campus

    BostInno - 03/31/2015

In a bid to gain a higher profile nationally in tech education, Northeastern University announced plans to open small campuses in companies located in the Bay Area in Northern California. The first will be in Silicon Valley, at semiconductor firm Integrated Device Technology (IDTI), the Boston university said.

According to a news release, Northeastern is “bringing its century- old experiential learning model and global industry network to a northern California market that demands more professionals educated in science, technology, engineering, and math—particularly women and minorities.”
