  • Majority of pot board opposed referendum

    CommonWealth Magazine - 09/01/2017

“I think it would be better if it were a balance of people who were pro and against,” said Leo Beletsky, a professor of law and health sciences at Northeastern University who has studied and written about the legalization of marijuana. “I think it’s somewhat concerning that there doesn’t appear to be a balance.”

Beletsky cautioned that some of the members may have voted against the ballot question for reasons other than being opposed to legal marijuana.
