  • Insightfully aims to turn connections into relationships

    BetaBoston - 12/14/2015

A social network is just that – a network of people with knowledge on a variety of topics. But most social users engage with only a fraction of their connections.

Chirag Kulkarni, a 20-year-old Northeastern University business student, has recognized the lack of communication among Twitter and LinkedIn followers and is launching a beta version Tuesday of Insightfully, a search tool that looks across Twitter and LinkedIn to find connections who can help one another.

“How can we automate the question, ‘what can I do to help other people?’… and then leave it to the humans to build that relationship,” Kulkarni, Insightfully’s chief executive, said. “There is an influx of social data, but there’s no meaning between the connections.”
