  • How To Make Yourself Robot-Proof

    Forbes - 05/15/2019

Rather than thinking about education as something that’s finished at college or graduate school, we have entered a period of history in which learning has to be embraced as a lifelong process. Schools, in particular, need to emphasize early on how to help learners embrace how to think creatively throughout life.

So argues Joseph E. Aoun, president of Northeastern University in Boston and author of the book, “Robot-Proof: Higher Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” (MIT Press, 2017). “Creation will be at the base of economic activity and much of what human beings do in the future,” Aoun writes in the book. “College should shape students into professionals but also creators.”
