  • Full court press: NFL vying for home-field advantage

    Boston Herald - 07/29/2015

“They want home-field advantage here, and frankly I have never seen this before,” said Roger I. Abrams, a professor of
sports and labor law at Northeastern University.

“This is very unusual, but they’re obviously trying to keep it away from David Doty.”

Regardless of where the case is held, Brady’s argument will likely be the same.

He’s going to say the arbitration process is flawed, and that Goodell couldn’t have been a fair or objective judge when analyzing his own penalty.

He’s going to argue that there was a conflict of interest — a fatal flaw that can kill arbitration awards.
