    For most of us, New Year’s resolutions are difficult promises to keep. Whether it’s saving money, eating healthier, or hitting the gym, by January 8, already 25 percent of our resolutions will be broken, according to David DeSteno.

    DeSteno is a professor of psychology at Northeastern. But, he says, there is a way to make keeping your resolutions easier. His tip? Practice gratitude.
