    Constantinos Mavroidis and Mark Sivak supervise Northeastern students and assign them with one “very broad” task every fall semester. This past year, it was to create a medical device that could be used to monitor users’ activities at home, that could also be interfaceable with a smartphone. Little did they know, their students would create a prototype they’re now running through tests and hoping to, one day, commercialize.
