Fun fact: Chris Lambert, the chief technology officer at Lyft, is a Northeastern University alumnus. And Tuesday evening, Lambert returned to his alma mater to share what he thinks the future of transportation has in store for us.
According to Lambert, transportation today is the second highest household expense, factoring in car insurance, gas prices and maintenance expenses. At the same time, the average person uses his car four percent of the time.
