    Huskies win in overtime and will play for Northeastern’s first NCAA championship


    No. 1 Northeastern fought back from two goals down to beat No. 5 Minnesota Duluth, 3-2, on a Skylar Fontaine overtime winner in the semifinal of the NCAA Women’s Ice Hockey Championship in Erie, Pa. The Huskies will face No. 2 Wisconsin, the defending champion, in the NCAA final Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time (ESPNU).

    A day for reflection, engagement, and action


    Northeastern is suspending operations on Monday to hold two live events focused on unity, equality, and justice. A morning vigil will be held in response to the killing of George Floyd and other Black people, to be followed by a discussion on civil rights and justice.
