Additional COVID Vaccine Clinics, Boston Campus

On Monday, September 26, 2022, the Office of Wellness and Student Success sent the following message with information on the Fall 2022 vaccine clinics. You can register here for an appointment for one of the dates below.

Good morning,

Vaccination remains essential to our community managing the spread of COVID-19. We require anyone who studies or works at a Northeastern campus to be fully vaccinated, which means a full course of either a one- or two-dose vaccine (see “Which vaccines does Northeastern accept?”) and at least one booster shot.

To assist our students, faculty and staff meet the requirement, Northeastern will hold COVID vaccine clinics on our Boston campus on the following dates:

·         Thursday, September 29

·         Monday, October 3

·         Wednesday, October 12

·         Thursday, November 3

·         Wednesday, November 9

·         Wednesday, November 16

·         Thursday, November 17

·         Monday, November 21

All vaccine clinics will be located in Ell Hall, Frost Lounge, on the Boston campus, and will be by appointment only.

Please register for an appointment here.

Important Reminders

  1. Please note that the FDA and the CDC have authorized heterologous boosters often referred to as “mixing and matching” vaccines. For instance, if you originally received two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, you can now receive a booster from either Pfizer or Moderna.
  2. Allow 30 minutes for your appointment so you can remain at the vaccine site for 15 minutes of monitoring after your dose.
  3. Please bring your medical insurance card/information, and COVID vaccination card/information to the appointment
  4. Updating Your Vaccination Verification: Whether you receive your vaccine at Northeastern or from another provider, please update your records by submitting all updated does to the Vaccine Verification form.

COVID Rapid Antigen Test Availability

Home-use rapid antigen tests are available for students, faculty and staff upon request, and free of charge, on all of our Global University System campuses. On the Boston campus, tests can be picked up in the Curry Student Center at the Crossroads Desk, located on the ground floor. At the Oakland Campus, tests can be picked up at the Student Health Center. At the remaining Global University System campus locations tests can be picked up from the campus operational staff. There is no pre-registration or appointment required.

Accessing Other Vaccine Providers

We urge everyone to check all possible vaccine providers if you’re unable to book an appointment, including local pharmacies, which have available vaccine appointments. You can find additional information on COVID Vaccinations in locations across Northeastern’s Global University System at the following links: MassachusettsCaliforniaWashingtonMaineNorth CarolinaVirginiaBritish Columbia, and Ontario.

Thank you for your continued attention to this matter,
