Northeastern and Moderna establish fellowship that will bring Big Data to drug development
The process by which a drug goes from the lab bench to pharmacy shelves is a long and expensive one, taking roughly 10 years and costing billions of dollars. Mansoor Amiji, university distinguished professor of pharmaceutical studies, and Husain Attarwala, a double husky and director and head of clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics at Moderna, hope this partnership will decrease both time and cost.
