Northeastern solemnly marked the 10th anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing and presented the Shores C. Salter Citizenship Award. Northeastern graduate student proved to be the fastest Boston runner in the Boston Marathon, winning the inaugural Fastest Bostonian Award. Houston-based artist Daniel Anguilu began painting a new mural on the ramp leading up to the Columbus Garage on Northeastern’s Boston campus, confirming that the heart of “100 Years of Solitude” will still be central to the new piece.
