The Northeastern women’s hockey team won the women’s Team of the Year at the Howlin’ Huskies Awards Tuesday night. The team finished the season with a 34-3-1 record on the way to Hockey East regular season and tournament championships, as well as a return to the NCAA Frozen Four. The men’s track and field team also won Team of the Year award. Top Athlete Awards went to Devon Levi of men’s hockey and Alexander Korczynski of men’s track, as well as Alina Mueller of women’s hockey. Rhett Burns of men’s rowing took home the Gallagher Award, and Chloé Aurard of women’s hockey won the Rowlands Award; the two prestigious awards are given annually to the top male and female scholar-athletes.
