Spring has officially sprung. Students took to the outdoors to study on Centennial Common, relax in hammocks, and prepare for Relay for Life. As a part of Wellness Week, some students got their heart rates up by playing a life-size version of the popular game Hungry Hungry Hippos. Meanwhile, on Thursday, King Husky and Jude—the newest member of the pack—visited campus for National Puppy Day. Later that evening, President Joseph E. Aoun, faculty members, and students celebrated D’Amore-McKim’s 100th anniversary. In addition to this huge milestone, Northeastern had another reason to celebrate: Devon Levi, the men’s ice hockey goalie, signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres. The signing signals the end of his Northeastern career, but it also marks the start of his professional career.
