On Wednesday, he was named the Hockey East player of the year and one of 10 finalists for the Hobey Baker Award, college hockey’s top individual honor. He was previously named a Hockey East first-team all-star, conference goalie of the year and a finalist for the Mike Richter Award, given to the nation’s best goalie. On Friday, the 6-foot, 184-pound Levi signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres, ending his historic Northeastern career and beginning a new one as a professional athlete in the NHL.
