The first week of 2023 has come and gone at Northeastern. On Wednesday, the university was widely represented under the gilded dome of the Massachusetts Statehouse. The inaugural session of the House of Representatives took place following a state election. Another historical moment happened in the Bay State’s capital when Maura Healey, Massachusetts’ attorney general since 2015 and Northeastern University graduate, officially took on the role of governor following her inauguration. There is much more to come this academic year as graduate and undergraduate students prepare for the spring semester.
