A disappointing 3-1 Beanpot loss for the women’s ice hockey team kicked off a busy week on Northeastern’s Boston campus, but all is not lost for the Huskies: The NCAA championship is still within reach, and five hockey players are headed to Beijing to compete in the Olympic Games. Elsewhere, students got in touch with their musical sides—while heading for the university’s tunnel system to avoid the cold and rainy weather. (The koi are hunkered down for the winter, too. The ectothermic fish congregate at the bottom of Northeastern’s pond during the cold months, conserving energy for the spring.)
