During a two-day visit to Boston as part of an official delegation led by her husband, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Elke Büdenbender speaks with doctoral student Johanna Gunawan at the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex. Students from the Khoury College of Computer Sciences met with Büdenbender to share their stories as women in tech who have entered the field of computer science at Northeastern as undergraduates or through Align, a master’s program designed specifically for students who don’t have a technical or computing background.
