Thousands of students will return to Northeastern’s Boston campus this week. To ensure that move-in runs smoothly, students, faculty, and staff with parking permits should be aware of these temporary parking and traffic changes.

The North Lot on St. Stephen Street is closed through Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 7 a.m.

The Forsyth Lot will be closed starting Thursday, Aug. 30 at 11 p.m. and will reopen to all parking permit holders on Monday, Sept. 3.

Vehicles remaining in these locations during these periods will be towed at the owner’s expense. Permit holders should  consider parking in the Columbus Garage during these closures. There is a website with additional parking options for faculty and staff.

An additional note for drivers this weekend: The section of Melnea Cass Boulevard between Tremont Street and Columbus Avenue will be closed for move-in on Sunday, Sept. 2 and Monday, Sept. 3. Drivers are asked to navigate to Columbus Avenue via Massachusetts Avenue.
