Campus community reacts to 2016 election on social media

Republican Donald J. Trump’s stunning victory over Democrat Hillary Clinton on Tuesday in the 2016 presidential election concluded a long, contentious campaign.

Northeastern professor Bill Crotty called Trump’s victory “one of the biggest political upsets in history,” while professor Nick Beauchamp noted “a mys­ti­fying failure of polling” in the lead up to Tuesday’s vote.
