As another major snowstorm moves across New England, Northeastern University canceled all day and evening classes on Massachusetts campuses on Monday. Business offices also are closed.

Classes and activities at the university’s Charlotte and Seattle campuses will continue as scheduled.

The storm—the area’s second in less than a week—is expected to drop up to a foot of snow across the region. Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh closed the city’s public schools and declared a snow emergency and parking ban effective at 6 a.m.

The Men’s Beanpot semifinals scheduled for Monday have been postponed to Tuesday, with Northeastern and Boston College now set to face off tomorrow at 8 p.m. at TD Garden.

The university’s facilities crews, public safety officials, dining services staff, and others are working around the clock to keep campus streets and sidewalks clear and provide essential services to the campus community.

Marino Center will be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. today, while SquashBusters and Cabot Center are closed.

Curry Student Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Stetson East and International Village will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and On the Go in Curry will open at 7 a.m. Follow @NUDining on Twitter for updates or changes in hours of operation.
