Yet his work takes on a much larger interdisciplinary scope. Expanding his research beyond the science of climate change and developing data-driven climate assessments, Ganguly also focuses on how climate-related extreme events relate to water sustainability, how communities adapt to and mitigate the effects of weather events such as monsoons and floods and how leaders on all government levels can use climate research to make sound policy decisions.
