Northeastern University Hosts Family Day at Fenway

What: Northeastern University Family Day at Fenway

When: Saturday, June 9, noon to 4 p.m.

Where: Fenway Park

Event Details: This Saturday, 350 boys and girls from Boston-area youth organizations – including Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay, Mission Hill Little League, Roberto Clemente Little League, and the All Dorchester Sports League – will join more than 4,500 Northeastern alumni and students for an “up close and personal” day of fun at Fenway Park.

This lively event will feature photos with the World Series trophy and Wally the Green Monster, as well as practice swings in the batting cage, face-painters, jugglers, and magicians. Thanks to Liberty Mutual, kids from local youth organizations will receive children’s books written by Fenway’s own Jerry Remy about Wally the Green Monster.

Family Day at Fenway is a key example of Northeastern University’s commitment to developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with its neighbors throughout the Greater Boston area.
