    President Obama advanced a proposal last month to help stimulate the U.S. economy and put more Americans back to work. The bill, known as the American Jobs Act, would provide approximately $450 billion in tax cuts to workers and local businesses, grants to expand employment for teens and young adults, and tax credits to employers for hiring long-term unemployed workers and veterans. To date, no other proposal has been offered to address the needs of the American worker.
